Merge Record Cannot Be Located

In a word merge document and I try to locate a record using the binocular
icon, keying in the correct data in a field, the merge window pops up
claiming it cannot "find" the record. And other times it does find the
record. Why is there this inconsistency? Merge document is linked to a
table or query using DDE.

Hi Victor,

You may want to also post this in the Word Mailmerge
newsgroup (link below) and include the version of Word
that you're using.
