Merge with Word 2003

I'm working with Pub2003 and Word2003. When I try to Create a new
publication, some of my pages come up blank on the new document. I tried
adding to an existing publication and the same thing happens.

Are you trying to bring Word text over to Publisher?
Create a text box, right-click, click change text, click text file, browse to
the Word document.

I'm not sure what you mean about merging the two...

I'm trying to do a mail merge in Publisher. I've already copied the text
from Word into Publisher. I can get Publisher to show me that it will merge,
but I can't save it with the merged address so I can make edits later on.
"File, save as" doesn't work. If I've made any changes in my fill document,
it will take those edits and not keep what I previously entered.

Do a create a new publication in step 5 of the merge wizard.
