Merging to Outlook 2003

I'm certain that I used to be able to merge a form letter to Outlook 2000, using personalized information my Outlook Contacts list but, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to do it in Outlook 2003. If you could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it

Thank you.

You do this from within Word not Outlook. In Word choose Tools-> Letters and
Mailings

I know how to create mail merge documents in Word using the Outlook contact list, but isn't there a way to personalize e-mails using the Outlook 2003 contact information?

Yes, that is step 4 in the Wizard. It shows you predefined greetings
already.
