Merging two Publisher files

Is there an easy way to do this - i.e. import pages from another Publisher
file into current one. Or is it just a case of copy/paste?

I have Publisher 2003

Many thanks

Figured that might be the case. What a shame!

Thanks

Ya know, I can insert one doc into another with Acrobat. It's slick but it's
not any easier than copy and paste.

Sigh.... will continue with copy/paste. I tend to compare Publisher with
Word/PPT all the time and expect to find these sort of features.

Thanks

A bizarre way:

"Publisher sort of has this feature built in, but this is SOOOOOO
Whacked, that copy and paste works better. Perhaps you could automate
this some how.

Let's say I am collaborating with 3 other Publisher users for creating a
Newsletter. Each user is responsible for a page and 1 user is
responsible for combining all the pages together into one publication.

I have a publication saved that is my "master" publication that I'm
combining the other pages from the other users with. I keep this
publication closed as I open one of the pages submitted. I have an Excel
spreadsheet with a header row label and 1 piece of data in it. I'm using
this dummy file with 1 record to trick the mail merge wizard. Using the
Mail Merge Wizard, I use the spreadsheet as the data source and at the
step in the wizard for choosing fields to insert, I do not insert ANY. I
don't need any. The mail merge wizard will happily continue. At the end
of the merge is an option to merge to the end of a publication. It will
open a file open dialog and let me choose my "master" publication.
Publisher has successfully combined 1 page from another publication for
me.

I know this is pretty far fetched, but you want to know if Publisher can
do it and as a mater of fact it CAN. :)" JP

They are two different programs. We seem to forget that just because one
program is made by the same company as another that they might not have the
same features.
