Message date not importing

Hi,

I am trying to import email messages from Outlook Express to Outlook 03.
Trouble is most messages are coming in as "received" as of the moment I
imported them. In other words I have 900 or so messages all dated 11/28/03
at 10:28 AM, which makes them useless. I am able to sort the messages by
subject line, size, sender and so forth, but not by date.

Is there a way to change the importer to cause it to import the actual
received date from the OE message store?

If you've been trying the import from the Outlook side, try exporting from
the OE side instead -- that should retain the proper dates.
