Message deleted when message closed

When this user closes an email, it dissapears. It does
not got to deleted items, any folders in their account or
to the archive. It's just gone.

I'm sure there is a question somewhere in that post... Also, I wonder what version of Outlook they are referring to... Hrm.

It's probably not gone. They probably have "Unread Messages" view set.
