I have a user who has his message format set to RTF.
However, when he hits the reply button on an email sent to
him (also in RTF) it changes to plain text. Help!?!?

Does this happen with ALL emails, or only those from certain addresses?

Good question, he is on a satelite (Direcway) and not on
our company exchange server. The emails he did this with
for me were from our company server. I have him booting
up his system to try it on another address but that will
take a little time. Do you think it could be something
with how our exchange server is set?

I was thinking along the lines that hiaddressbook has these particular
addresses set to use plain text mail, so even if they were sent in HTML, the
setting might change to plain text for the reply.
just a thought....

Had him try other addresses and check his address book.
This happens on all emails he responds to and I can't find
any in this address book properties that has anything to
do with formatting.

Happens with all addresses and I had him search properties
in his address book and can't find anything having to do
with formatting messages. I failed to state earlier that
his platform is W2000 and OL2000.

I don't suppose it's something as silly as Tools-Options-Mail Format and the
message format is set to Plain text, is it?
