Message stuck in Outbox

I mistakenly replied to an e-mail that was sent to an
account that I no longer had a password for. When
Outlook tried to send it through that account, it said
somethin to the effect of, "This requires a certificate,
do you want to continue." I clicked no. It froze my
Outlook session.

Now the item is still in my outbox; however, I cannot
open it. When I click on the item, I get the message:

"Can't open this item. Outlook has already begun
transmitting this message."
