Messages are not saved in the Sent Items folder

Hello all,

I am running Outlook 2000 Pro SR1. For some reasons
messages are not saved in the Sent Items folder, although,
the box "Save copies of messages in Sent Items folder" is
checked.

Any tips would be greatly appriciated.

From the Outlook Folder list (View folder list) right-click and choose
Advanced Find and search for the messages. If Outlook finds one of
the missing 'sent' messages then that means you either need to change
your view in the Sent items (View>Current View) or there may be
corruption where the messages are being stored.

Check your view to ensure you don't have messages filtered out and/or
then do an Advanced Find to find one of the sent messages.
