Microsoft Office Word 2003 corrupted files

Hi all

We have upgraded our office pack from 2000 to office XP and 2003...

2-3 times a week we get the error message that file is corrupted, and I can
not open and repair it from the drop down menu.
The only way I can get the document to work, is by open it with WordPad and
open it again with word 2003. And then the formatting is lost.
We are still having some office 2000 user and they got no problem with open
any doc.

I have tried to figure out when this problem occurs to see if there is a
pattern, but I can not find it.
The only thing I have noticed is that they all have pictures in the doc..
