can call customer support at 800-936-5700 they should be
able to get you where you need to go!

this is for a laptop / notepad that is NOT connected to the Internet. But
yes, you are right, the two options are to either register over the Internet,
or (as in my case) over the phone. However, the number, that is displayed on
the registration screen, is no longer in service. I found that baffling, but
as with so many things in life, things change!

In the meantime, I was able to resolve the issue. Thank you for your
feedback (that goes to the previous response, as well!)
