Microsoft Outlook problem

I am trying to import a contact list created in Excel to
the contacts in Microsoft Outlist. I get two error
messages.
1. Internal error 2711
2. Installer error 1603

I couldn't find a solution in the knowledge base and
telephone support would not help.
