I would like to know if we can install Microsoft Office Project 2007 (only)
with Microsoft Office 2003 (Powerpoint, excel, word, outlook).

I have another question, I would like to know if we can connect Project 2003
with SQL 2005.

I have only tested half of your question: Project2007 interoperates with
Microsoft Office 2003 with no problem, I am using it that way now. Please be
aware that visual reporting in Project2007 will not work with Visio2003; in
that instance, you will need to use Visio2007. I am Project2007 with Office
2003 (Excel, PowerPoint) and it works just fine.

You are best asking this in an Office forum for better clarifcation.
That being said, read the license for your Student version. It probably
says it is not upgradable.

I have one question, please help.
I've created task custom field called Location, with two values. One of
that
values I set to be default and I specified that custom fields as
required.
But, in project table that column don't have default value (it is
empty) and
when I try to save project it reports error: Required field value:
Location.
What I have to do to set default value for custom field, so that a
don't have
to fill it evry time???
Thanks

Hello Worried,

I can only address how this works without Project server and I am not
sure if you are using Enterprise fields or not, but perhaps it will
help. In the Value List Dialog box there is a check box for "Use a
value from the table as the default" -- I assume you have enabled
(checked) it. Then you need to select the value in your list and click
the Set Default button to set the selected value as default. The field
should now populate with the default value.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
