Microsoft Publisher 2002 - lost code

Hi. I bought publisher 3 years ago and installed on my desktop and daughters
laptop. Everything was fine until my daughter completely trashed her laptop
with a virus and i had to reload everything. When i came to reload publisher
i couldn't find the original case with the certificate number on it - and now
it won't authenticate and therefore load. How can i restore this programme?
Will the certificate number be on my desktop somewhere? Any ideas gratefully
received.

I can't really tell by your post but I will assume that you did a complete
reformat and not just reinstall programs without having wiped everything
clean.

You will need some sort of proof that you actually have the disk but I'm not
sure what they will require.

Run Belarc, I have Small Business 2002 installed and it shows the product
number.
