Publisher 2007 and Vista

I've created a 1.3MB file in Publisher 2007 running on Vista that is a book
and sent it to my editor for final review. She uses Publisher 2007 on
Windows XP and was able to open and work on my file. She has sent it back to
me for my final review but I cannot open her file on my laptop with a
Publisher 2007/Vista combo but I can open the file on an old desktop I have
running Publisher 2003 with a compatibility fix and Windows XP. Any
suggestions how I can fix this so I can use this file on my Publisher
2007/Vista combo? Thanks.

Disable your anti-virus software, will the file open now? Are you trying to
open the file from removable media? If you are, copy the file to your local
drive and try again.

If you have Norton:

Thanks Mary,
I tried both of your suggestions.

That is, I use Windows Live One Care as my anti-virus and firewall program
etc and so disabled this before opening the file but that didn't help.

I've also tried opening the file from Outlook when it came in as an
attachment and it wouldn't open. I then copied the file to my desktop and it
wouldn't open. This morning I took the file from my desktop to Office Max
and they were able to open it on their desktop running Publisher 2003 so it
seems to be a specific problem with Publisher 2007 and Vista.

A little more information is that I have noticed on my desktop there is a
file called custom.dic. Is it possible that Publisher 2007 when trying to
open the file on my Vista PC doesn't like it?

All help is appreciated.

Thanks,
