I'm not sure Windows is to blame if she is getting a wrong version
message. It could be her anti-virus software or it could be she has
Windows 98 and cannot use the ActiveX control.
It may be helpful for her to put the Office site into her trusted area
On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer®, click Internet Options, and then
click the Security tab.
Click the Trusted Sites icon, and then click Sites.
Clear the Require server verification (https
for all sites in this zone
check box.
In the Add this Web site to the zone box, type
http://office.microsoft.com, and then click Add.
Click OK twice.
Emptying her temporary cache could help, in Internet Explorer, tools,
Internet options, delete files.

I have been trying to download the Fundraiser Goal banner from the
