microsoft word--cutting using the cut feature on the keyboard

the cutting feature in microsoft word is on the keyboard. how do i highlight
the text to be cut using the keyboard dince it is not on the toolbar?

You can hold down the SHIFT key and press the right arrow as many times as
it takes to select your text. You can also hold SHIFT and press the down
arrow to select an entire line. Is that what you were looking for?
