Microsoft Word Problem

When I close a Word file, a warning box says, "MS Word has stopped working,"
and then another warning box says, "Word cannot open the file" and warning
that it may not be saved properly. That box includes the coding WRS
{C1D946A2-B56A-417D-A517-936724-D69C4F}. Then, MS words automatically
restarts and creates a new document. This has been going on for about three
weeks, and today a new box (Problem Reports and Solutions) appeared, saying,
"Problem caused by HP Printer Driver. They are aware of the problem and are
working on a solution."

Anyone else experiencing this problem? Is it fixable? HP techs say it's MS's
problem and not HP's. Any help?

Since you haven't bothered to state which version of Word or even what
operating system you're using [this is the Mac Word group but PC users
stumble in here all the time] it's impossible to offer any meaningful
suggestions. If you'd care to provide the pertinent details there may be
some thoughts to share on the matter :)

You're using Vista on a PC. This forum is for Mac Word on Unix.

If the problem IS caused by the printer driver, then it is very definitely
HP's problem not Microsoft's. They wrote the printer driver :)

Word does not crash on my PC using an HP Printer. Not even running Vista,
which I try not to do...

Cheers
