Minimised windows don't appear in taskbar.

In any programme including internet, when I minimise a window the window
simply disappears and I am unable to retrieve it. Have searched through all
the help options, tried to change taskbar set up etc but to no avail! Help! I
am getting verrrry frustrated...

Hardly an Office question, as already indicated but you might care to
run an up to date virus scan.

If you mean you minimize an application and it
does not show on the Taskbar but can still be seen in Ctrl+Al+Del
then:

I'm not sure what he problem is, as it should show up on your taskbar.
But try holding down the ALT key and tap the TAB key to see if you can
cycle through your open apps. If so, when you highlight the icon for
the one you want, release the ALT key and it'll max the screen to the
forefront.
