missing old emails

I bought a new computer. copied my .pst file from my old
computer onto a CD and then copied that to my new
computer. All of the mail between April 7 and July 1 is
missing. what happened and how do I fix it?

Are you sure you copied the right file? If you still have the old machine,
double check it for all .PST files, and if you are using Windows 2000 or XP,
make sure you check in hidden folders as well as visible ones.
