.mix will not insert into Word as it previously did.

Two up on a page

In the past I could insert Photodraw .mix into Word. Now it won't accept it.
I have downloaded the graphic filters but it still won't insert. Is there a
remedy.

There is more than one flavor of .MIX file from Microsoft.
The multilayered one from Photodraw 2000 pretty much only
worked with both that app and Office 2000 working and
Microsoft dropped Photodraw after the 2000 version.
