Module 1, New macros and This document

Dave Neve

Hello

Don't know how I got into this situation, but when I open my important Word
..doc which has my macros, I have noticed that in VB editor, my macros seem
to be in at least 3 places all connected to this document.

They are

Module 1, New macros and This document.

How comes there are 3 places, which one is best suited to which needs etc,
etc ,etc.?

Also, how do you change a Project name after having assigned one that you
want to change?

Thanks in advance

Hi Dave,
I wouldn't store macros in a document, but in a template.
And if it is really important, save the dots in different versions.
Like SPC-01.dot, SPC-02.dot ..., which is my spreadsheet converter
from Word to QuarkXpress.
Module 1, New macros and This document.
The macros are stored, wherever you want them to be stored.
The default for recorded macros seems to be module NewMacros
in project normal. If you insert a module by hand it gets
incrementally numbered, (Modul1, 2, 3, ...) (German version)
For renaming a project, in the VBE open the project explorer [ctrl r],
select the project, [F4], etc...
