Mouse scroll

If I use my mouse to scroll while I am editing, it jumps 4 slides. Is there a
way to change it to 1 slide or is there a problem with my mouse?

You can set how many "lines" the wheel will move for most mice at

start > control panel settings > mouse > wheel

but I imagine that would mess about how you are used to the wheel acting in
other application ?
