Mouse scrolling

Hi, I posted this in access.modulesvba and didn't receive an answer so I'm
trying cross posting.

Is there a way to control how a mouse wheel scrolls through a memo field?
When I use the wheel to scroll down in a memo field, it scrolls all the way
to the end of the field and then when you scroll up (using the wheel) it
goes to the top
of the field and the all the text is highlighted. So far, all info I've
been
able to find suggests disabling the scrolling with the wheel using code.

Is here another answer other than wheel mouse on or off?
