Move email

Outlook User

I am running Outlook 2003. When I delete a message or move a message from my
Inbox, it stays in my Inbox with a line through the subject. How do I get it
to actually move immediately?

Are you using an IMAP mailbox? If so, those messages are in the mailbox but
haven't been purged yet (it's on the Edit menu, if I remember correctly)
