Hello,

I need to move all the emails I have on one machine to a new computer. Both
have Outlook Express. Can anyone help me with information regarding this ?

Thanks,
Andrew.

Here are some steps that should help you to accomplish this task.
1. Open Outlook Express. On the old machine.
2. Go to Tools -> Options and select the Maintenance tab.
3. Click on the Store Folder button.
4. Highlight the path listed and copy it.
5. Click Ok twice and then Close Outlook Express.
6. Open My Computer and paste the path into the Address line and click Go.
7. Now Go to View -> Go To -> Up One Level.
8. Now you should see the Outlook Express folder. Copy this folder to the
new machine.

The next step would be to import this data into the new machines Outlook
Express.
1. Open Outlook Express. On the new machine.
2. Go to File -> Import -> Messages.
3. Select Microsoft Outlook Express 6 and click Next.
4. Select Import mail from an OE6 store directory and click Next.
5. Click the Browse button and point to the folder copied from the old
machine and click Next.
6. On the next window either select the specific folders to import or
simply click Next to import all folders.
7. Click Finish.

I hope this information is helpful.
