movie background

Hi

I am just wondering if it is possible to have a movie running in the
background (i.e. wmv format) and have the text animated? I am looking for a
kind of DVD menu effect- a loop video running in the background.

Just wondering because I can't get the text to show up in front of a movie.

That's not normally possible.

You can use an animated GIF as a background though - and even that may play
choppy.

Or you might want to look at a third party add-in:

Videos always play "on top" in PowerPoint .

I'll second Geetesh's recommendation.
The OfficeFX PowerPoint Add-in is the only product I know of that will
do that inside PowerPoint.
