Moving data and settings from one machine to another

I use microsoft office 2002. How do I "move" data and settings i.e. .doc,
..xls, emails, email rules and folder hierarchies from one machine to another.
Both machines have xp

I just purchased a new toshiba laptop and it has a "transfer files and data"
wizard that says it will walk you thru this process. I'm going to try it in
the next few days thru a wireless router network at my home. Anyone been thru
this before? Is it fairly simple and straight forward?

Without knowing what software they are using to do that, can't be answered.
