Moving Images

Tom

Recently have upgraded from Word 97 to Word 2002. Under
Word97 I was able to Insert a picture from file into the
document and then with the mouse move the picture to
where I wanted on the document.

Since upgrading I am no longer able to move the picture
within the document.

Has this ability been removed from 2002 or what am I
doing wrong.

Thanks in advance for any advice

In Word 2003, you have the option to install objects In Line with the Text
or as a floating objects. (The option to change the default behaviour is in
Tools, Options, Edit). However, although you have been inserting In Line, if
you right-click on the picture and choose Format Picture and select the
Layout tab, you can change from In Line to one of several options: try In
Front of Text for starters and experiment with that.
