Moving Inbox folders?

I recently lost some Outlook data during a reformat of a
hard drive. However, I can recover some of the saved
email from an older PC. Here's the problem, I'm running
a different version of Outlook on the older PC. When I
try to import the backup file from my old PC, I am told
that I do not have permission to do so.

How can I get access to my backup file and open it on my
six month old pc?

Thx,

How did you move it to the new PC? If by CD, you have to copy it to the HD
and then remove the read-only attribute before Outlook can open it.

By the way, DON'T import. Use File>Open to open the PST and then just
drag-and-drop items as needed.
