Moving Line in Powerpoint

Is it possible to make a moving line in powerpoint, for example when showing
a path on a map.

Yes! Which version of PowerPoint do you have? If PPT 2002 or 2003, you can
use individual lines and use the "Wipe" animation, or you can use the custom
"Motion path" animation technique. Older versions (PPT 97 or 2000) don't
have the latter and must use individual lines set to "Wipe" in the direction
desired. I would be more than happy to send an example or explain further
if this doesn't make sense!
