MRU Font list

Since upgrading to Office 2003 my font pull down menu no longer shows most
recently used fonts at the top. I have found many ways online to disable
this feature but how do I enable it if it is not working?

Hi Mcdoane,

You can toggle the Font MRU listing using
the Word 2003 support template with the
steps here. It sets a registry entry.

Bob,
That did the trick, it would have been simpler to just put in the registry
entry directly with a value of "0" however, because there were many problems
getting that update to take (a quick search of "SKU111.cab not found" shows
that I am not alone). I had tried and failed to install support.dot prior to
your reply so I had hoped you would suggest something else! I finally got
the template updated by copying the entire contents of "c:/MSOCache" from
another computer on my network that is also running Office 2003 Pro - but
that is another story.

Thanks for the response,
Michael Doane
