A virus invaded my computer and I had to reinstall MS
Windows 2000 and all previously installed software such as
MS Office 2000. During the reinstall of MS Office 2000 I
received a message "The system administrator has set
policies to prevent this installation" and the install
process was ended.
All the other software installs went without a hitch
including MS Project 2000.
Can someone help me out or point me in the right
direction? I am in dire need of completing the MS Office
2000 install and am licensed for this product. I have
reviewed most of the "Administrative Settings" in the
Control Panel for "Policy Settings and Security Settings"
but I must be missing something.
I was logged onto "Administrator" when I attempted the
install.
Thanks and please respond.
