MS Office 2002 startup problem

I have recently installed a larger hard drive as my "CO" drive and I've had
issues whenever I open either MS Word or MS Excel since then. I did the
migration by using the hard drive manufacturer's utility and migrating
everything from the old "C" drive to the new and then pulling the old "C"
drive out of the system. Ever since I did it whenever I open either Word or
Excel I get a small window saying "Preparing to install"! If I don't
anything or if I click on "Cancel" the window eventually goes away and the
program opens okay. I've tried doing a "Detect and Repair" on both programs
but that didn't help. The weird thing is that the other parts of Office
(Power Point, Front Page, Outlook, etc) all open fine without the "Install"
routine!

I'm not sure if it's related but a lot of the icons on my desktop have
change from "program specific" to just generic icons. I'm not sure if it
happened at the same time but I think that it might have.

Any help would be appreciated. TEA!

Oooops! The reference in the first line should have been to the "C" drive
not "CO" drive! But you all knew that, right?
