MS Office 2003 Full

S

Scott Graham

I bought 8 new computers. I setup one hard drive with
Windows 2000, Windows Office 2003 XP Full, and all of my
users. I then cloned all of the hard drives using
Ghost.exe. After cloning I put all the hard drives back in
the computers they belonged in. I ran the syssetup for
Windows 2000 Pro so I could change the network settings
and the Product Key.

The question, how do I change the product key # for MS
Office 2003 XP. Right now I have 8 copies of MS Office
2003 XP but all the clones are using the same Product Key
#.

Any help.

Thanks.

Scott,

The best way to install Office System 2003 for image deplyment is to use the
Office Resourse Kit (ORK) and use a tool call the Custom Installation Wizard
(CIW).
The Custom Installation Wizard enables you to record changes to the master
installation in a Windows Installer transform (MST file) without altering
the original package (MSI file). Because the original package is never
altered, you can create a different transform for every installation
scenario you need. When you run Setup with both the package and the
transform, Windows Installer applies the transform to the original package,
and Setup uses your altered configuration to perform the installation.

The ORK is available at

Thank you
