MS Office XP (Sent Items)

I am trying to view my sent email in the sent items folder. But I get an
error message as follows: "Unable to display the folder, Microsoft Outlook
could not access the specified folder loacation. The folder no longer exists"

I had already set up my tools/options/preferences/email/message
handling/save copies of message in sent items folder, and this doesn't solve
the problem.
