MS Outlook 2007 Attachment Problems

Hi!
I have a client who recently upgraded to Office2007.
He is now experiencing problems when sending email attachments and it
is one that I am struggling to understand myself and so thought that
someone here may be able to offer some inspiration.

He has a laptop and desktop connected together on via a home network.
His laptop runs Windows Vista and his desktop XP.

Both PC's use MS Outlook 2007 as the email client. He has no problems
whatsoever with sending or receiving mail via his laptop. He does
however have problems when sending attachments to some of his contacts
from the desktop machine. When sending an email to certain contacts,
from the desktop, the contact is unable to receive the attachment but
is able to receive the email text. If my client then sends the same
email from his laptop the contact will receive the email text and the
attachment. This to me would mean that it is a problem with the setup
on my client's desktop machine, but where it lies I am unsure.

I have stopped his firewall and AV software from running on the
desktop to ensure it wasn't those applications and sill the attachment
does not get through to the contacts.
Can anyone offer any advice or a solution?

Thanks in advance,
MM
