MS Project 2003 Standard Trial Version

I have recently needed to uninstall the above version via add/remove programs
- this worked fine.
I now need to reinstall the Trial version but at each attempt it states that
a trial version already exists and that I should uninstall this one before
reinstalling!

What can I do?

Hi Julie,

I'll give this a try - my only concern is that the trial version was
downloaded into a folder on my hard drive and so is not on a CD so I'm not
sure how to effect the advice given. Can you help me with this as well? Is it
simply a case of copying the downloaded file to a cd?

Hi Terry,

I would do as you suggest. The directions are for loading the regular
version of Project 2003 Standard from CD, that's where the directions
about using the CD is coming from, I believe.

Julie,

It failed to work. I received a message redirecting me to "control panel to
install program".
I'm beginning to think that I don't want this software - its supposed to be
a trial!
Any other ideas?

Hi Terry,

I'm not sure what steps you followed to receive the error message. It is
possible that the trial version cannot be re-installed. (I would assume this
is to prevent people from reinstalling the trial version multiple times and
not actually purchasing project.)

I don't know if it is possible to download the trial version again from the
download site. I'm afraid I don't have any other suggestions.
