MS Project: change summary task duration to hours not days?

N

Nick Brown

I want my summary tasks to show the hours / minutes used in my tasks not a
fraction of a day (e.g. 0.2).

Does anyone know how to set this?

I'm assuming you are referring to the field "duration". You could
create a computed text field which converts the duration number of tasks
in the time format you wish, e.g. "HH:MM", and then display this text
field as a column in the Gantt Chart, or even show this field on the
Gant Chart itself.

Ni Nick,

In addition to Rob's suggestion you could also run the Format_Duration
macro. Tools > Macro > Macros.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
