Hello,

We are using MS Project Pro 2003 with Project Server 2003 (SP3) using a
dedicated SQL 2005 server.

We have about 500 projects currently on our system.

There is one project (at least only one that has been determined) that every
time we open it, the "Using Resource" dialog box opens first. We don't have
any filters preset, no special gantt charts or entry tables.

Again, it is only this one project that is doing this.

We can cancel or not pick a resource and continue, but its just a hassle for
our one PM.

Any thoughts or anyone run into this issue before?

thanks,
Aaron Miller, PMP

Hi,

The Project Server newsgroup is the best place for Project Server related
questions. However, are there any VBA macros in this project, especially in
the ProjectOpen event?

If not there may be a corruption in the local Cache. If you open the project
from the server does this still happen? You could try locating the Cache
folder (C;|documents and settings\UserName\App Data\Microsoft\MS
Project\Cache) and deleting the entire contents including any sub-folders).
