Ms Project Server - Scalability

Gigi

Hello comunity.

We are thinking to install a Project Server for making it easyer to share
projects information within the company.
The server will be used by 50-70 users working on different groups on
different projects.

Now , the question is , what would be a good hardware configuration so the
server will run smooth ?
CPU / HDD's / RAM , etc ? (We are working with HP as our main hardware
supplier)

Any suggestions ?

Download the Configuration Planning Guide. It has guidelines and examples
for scaling a system to your needs.

IF you have a typical mix of users, typical project sizes, and typical
needs, you MAY be able to get by with a single-server, single processor
install. If your users are on a WAN, you may need to consider Terminal
Services/Citrix.
