Hi,
The precise list of fields that are potentially modified by the scheduling
engine is all fields the name of which does not end by a numeric.
So Insert, Column, you get some 300 fields, forget those whose name ends on
a digit (these are the custom fields) and I guess you will get about 100 or
so
Some you missed, from the top:
% complete
% work complete
Actual Duration
Actual Work
Assignment delay
Assignment units
Constraint date
Constraint type (the lmatter 2 if you directly enter a start or finish date)
Critical
Duration Variance
External Task
Finish Slack
Finish Variance
Indicators
Leveling delay
Linked fields
Overallocated
Overtime Work
Predecessors
Preleveled Start
Preleveled finish (teh latter 2 when leveling is set to automatic)
Regular Work
Remaining Duration
Remaining overtime work
remaining work
Resume
Start Slack
Start Variance
Status
Status Indicator
Stop
Total Slack
WBS
WBS Predecessors
WBS Successors
Work
Work Variance
I left out some where one can argue they are gennerally input and not
calculated by Project.
These are just the task fields, there is a similar list for Resource and
Assignment fields.
Hope this helps,

I am drafting a guide for a large PMO effort and want to verify that I
have the list of fields that the "calculate" function of MS Project
determines when it caculates.
· Early Start, Start, Late Start
· Early Finish, Finish, Late Finish
· All project cost fields (except baselines)
· Earned Value fields
· Duration
Did I miss any? I searched several resources and am nit finding a
percise list.
