MS Publisher 2003 problems after installing Acrobat Pro 7.0

After installing Acrobat Pro 7.0, all shapes and pictures are transparent on
screen, but print properly, when I try to create (or open anything created by
Publisher elsewhere) in MS Publisher 2003. I didn't realize the correlation
until I installed Acrobat Pro 7.0 on a second machine and the same symptom
began occurring. The acrobat program is closed and I am working in Publisher
2003, not trying to do anything related to a PDF file, only .pub files.

This just amazes me. I have Pub 2003 and Acrobat Pro v7 and I have no
problems. And my system is 5½ yrs old.

Have you tried adjusting your graphics accelerator? Slide the acceleration
down on your adapter, control panel, display folder, settings tab, advanced
button, troubleshoot tab. It's worth trying. Seems a lot of people with
better graphics cards are having weird video glitches. Also look to see if
your video chip manufacturer has updated drivers.
