Publisher 2003 & Acrobat Pro 7.0 Problem

After installing Acrobat 7.0 Professional, Publisher 2003 (with all
updates), Publisher 2003 no longer displays embeded pictures in its
documents. If Acrobat is removed pictures are displayed.

If I disable acrobat by going to tools-->Macro-->Security, in publisher and
changing the security level to very high (which prevents acrobat from
activating with publisher), the embedded pictures will display, however when
settings are set to any other level that allows the acrobat macro to run,
embedded pictures are no longer displayed. I have updated to acrobat 7.0.3
but conditions still exist.

My security is set at medium, I have no problem with Acrobat 7. Do you have the
Office 2003 service pack? There were some issues with Acrobat fixed in the service
pack.
Try a "detect and repair" in Publisher.

You could be experiencing a video driver issue.

Slide the acceleration down on your adapter, control panel, display folder, settings
tab, advanced button, troubleshoot tab. See if the embedded objects show up when you
do this action. If the problem is gone, look into an upgraded driver from the
manufacturer's web site.
