MS Word 2000

When trying to open Word. I can get to the splash screen
and at that point Word stops responding. I don't not get
any errors or indication why it stop. This happened after
I did a system cleanup. I have tried to reinstall MS
Office several of times, but Word still does not work.
All other Office programs work just fine.
