MS word loads very slowly

I use MS Word 2003 and it has started to have loading problems. I loads and
closes very slowly, simetimes taking as much as 60 second.

I have reinstalled it and no improvements.

Any suggestions

Do you have Norton AntiVirus? If so, turn off the Office Plug-In.
