MS WOrd to publisher import problem

Hi All

I actually have this Manual made in Word 2007 and decided to come out with a
printed version. So I import it in MS Publisher 2007 but just noticed that it
didn't capture tables, bullets and numbering.

Also noticed after importing it to publisher that there is unwanted line
spacing to those text that has numbers in bullets in MS Word.

Can someone help me to relsove this please.

Really appreciated

thanks

Try this,
Create a text box the size you prefer to have throughout your publication.
Right-click the text box, click *change text*, click *text file*, browse to the
Word document. Publisher will ask about overflow. All your bullets and
numbering will come across okay. The tables, unlike Word, Publisher does not
allow tables to span pages. You will have to adjust the tables.

I have a similar problem. I'm using Publisher 2003. When I import a Word
document, the font size changes to 10. I followed the instructions below
(*change text*) and found the *font* button to define the text box for 11
point. But I want my text box to be a little larger than the template. I
created the larger text box on page 1, but when the text autoflows to the
next page, it goes back to the normal size text box. Other than manually
creating a text box on each page (I have more than 125 pages), is there any
why to set up the text box to my larger specifications for the entire
document?

Thanks

If you "change text" rather than "Import" the Word document, the ensuing text
boxes will be the same as the first if you have created margin guides the size
of the text box.
