There is no such thing as MSChart. You could mean MSGraph
or the charting feature in Excel. Both come with all
versions of Office since 6.0; and since OFfice 97 they have
an OLE interface (means you can program them using
COM/VBA).

Depending on how you installed, however, they might not be
on your machine. You'd need to run Add/Remove programs from
the control panel if this were the case.

sorry cindy,

MSChart does exist. look it up in the MSDN library. It
is the replacement for Microsoft Graph. it's essentially
the same except it supports a new property when declaring
your chart: ChartData. before with MSGraph, you could
only assign a table/query, value list, or field list to be
the source data for your graph. MSChart allows you to
insert variables into a data array and assign the array as
the "ChartData".

i just need to know how to get MSChart, because i need to
use the array method. someone told me that it is
supported by the XP operating system, but that didn't
sound right to me. look into it. it's out there....

I just went to the MSDN site and did a "Search" on the
term: MSChart

I came up empty.

Since I've seen a second message about it in one of these
office.developer groups, I do believe it exists. But it's
certainly NOT part of Office...

I just found it as an ActiveX control. Search your machine
for MS*.ocx and see if you can't turn it up...
