MSOffice XP Standard for student and teachers

I make an entry into a journal everyday. I have attempted to have a form to
use for this purpose. However, I usually lose what settings (font, font
size, autoformating options, margins) I have selected previously. How do I
select and SAVE these options in MS Word; so that I can then cut and paste
these into the journal?

Why not create a template for doing your journal entries? And, the best way
to keep from having to manually reformat is to use styles. A style is a
collection of formats, and you can give that collection a name (such as
journal entry). Note: styles "remember" formatting, but they don't
"remember" autoformatting options. For further information, look in Word's
Help system for help in creating document templates and using/creating
styles.
