On the Windows taskbar, click Start, then click Search.
Click Search Options, check the Advanced Options Checkbox and click Search
hidden files and folders. Then type the name of the hidden file (or leave
blank if you are not sure what the file name is), specify the hard drive the
file is located and click Search Now.
The computer will search for the hidden files (with the file name specified
if you have entered one) and the list of files will be listed on the right.
When you have located the one you want, right-click on its icon and click
Properties. Uncheck the Hidden checkbox and the file will no longer be hidden.
